AASWWE is delighted to announce that Shirley Peppler has won the Best Educator Award (Field Education) for 2009. Shirley was nominated by the University of Queensland Field Education Unit and is co-ordinator of the Young Parents Program in Brisbane.

Shirley’s application demonstrated her strong commitment to critical reflection and effective supervisory practice and was supported by outstanding statements of support from the UQ field education unit and three students who have experienced Shirley's supervision.
