AASWWE is delighted to announce the following recipients of the 2009 Wendy Weeks Research and Teaching Awards:
Dr Cate Hudson from the University of South Australia is awarded $3000 for her project “Building Strengths and Partnerships in Social Work Field Education in Rural and Regional Australia”.

Helen Cleak, School of Social Work and Social Policy, La Trobe University, Inez Chambers, AASW (Vic) Social Work Education Practitioner Group and Linette Hawkins, School of Global Studies, Social Science and Planning, RMIT University, are awarded, $2977 for their project: “Social Work Field Education National Common Assessment Evaluation Tool”.

We believe these projects will support quality research for teaching and learning in the fields of social work, welfare work and community development.
